Lift Them Up To A Higher Level
Aerials On Demand
began years ago early one morning in a small airplane flying over the Shenandoah Valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
An epiphany in the big picture.
Long before little remote control flying toys with miniature cameras were buzzing you while walking on the beach at sunset, you needed 20 rolls of film, a heavy motordrive Hasselblad, and a pilot with no fear.
An adventure with a photographer on assignment who one day would take home a Pulitzer Prize. My father had woken me up in the middle of the night to go with him while he was creating aerial pictures for National Geographic.
Humans can't fly entirely on our own, but a kids imagination can when a parent simply lifts them up to a higher level.

“A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know.”
